6 days imperial cities via anti-Atlas

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH 

Pick-up from marrakech airport. Our driver will wait for you outside the main entrance of the airport with a sign on behalf of the name. Then we’ll take you to your Riad which is situated in the heart of the medina. Overnight  at the Riad.

Day 2: EXPLORING MARRAKECH 

After breakfast in your Riad, you will start exploring Marrakech, which is also called ” the Moroccan red city”. Our official tour guide will ensure that you discover the most important parts of historical and cultural interests, including : the Saadians tombs, El Bahia Palace and the market. Lunch will be at a typical restaurant in the new city. Afternoon, you will explore the new part of the city and the gardens of Majorelle.  Overnight at the Riad.

Day 3: MARRAKECH – BENI-MELLAL – IFRANE – FÈS

Depart after breakfast from Marrakech across the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Beni-Mellal, the largest town in the Middle Atlas, for lunch. Giant cedar forests, volcanic mountains, strings of lakes and plains producing oranges, olives and sugar cane line the road. Along the way, visit Ifrane, a ski resort full of Alpine chalets with red-tiled roofs.

Arrive to Fez and spend the night at the Riad.

Day 4: EXPLORING FEZ MEDINA

All day devoted to visiting Fez, the oldest of the imperial cities, home to the world’s first university dating from the 9th century and one of the most complete medieval cities in existence, founded in 790 A.D. Seeming to exist somewhere between the middle ages and today, the Soul of Morocco stimulates the senses with its visual details, haunting sounds and rich aromas. Guided visit of medieval Medina, Karaouine University, Medersa Attarine, Kingdom Palace, Ben Denane Synagogue, souks. Spend the night in the Riad.

Day 5 : FEZ – MEKNÈS – VOLUBILIS – RABAT

After having Breakfast we will head to Rabat via the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The city was built with 20 gates, more than 50 palaces and 15 miles of surrounding walls. Then, we drive to Meknes where you will see the famous Bab Mansour gate, the Sahrij Souani and also the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismael. Following lunch we lead to Rabat the capital of Morocco and spend the night at the Riad.

Day 6: RABAT – CASABLANCA AIRPORT

After having breakfast we will start the historical visit of Kingdom Palace, Mausoleum of Mohammed V the grandfather and father of the present king are buried here, Hassan Mosque, a wonder of the medieval Moorish world with its great minaret left unfinished when its founder died in 1199, see the Chellah necropolis and Kasbah Oudaya.

Continue to Casablanca where you will have lunch then we will visit Hassan II Mosque, the Corniche, Mohammed V place, United nations place, law court, the prefecture, central post office. Afternoon, we drop you off at the airport of Casablanca.
